Meet Sarah

Sarah Sockolof

Owner, 3rd Generation

Hi, I'm Sarah Sockolof, proud third-generation proprietor of a small, community-rooted jewelry shop that my family has poured their hearts into for decades. Carrying on that legacy is something I don't take lightly, and every day I get to continue what my family built feels like a privilege.

My path here wasn't exactly a straight line. I studied political communications at George Washington University and spent years working in TV production before jewelry called me home — and honestly, those experiences shaped the way I connect with people and tell stories, which comes in handy more than you'd think in this business. It turns out that whether you're behind a camera or behind a jewelry counter, it's really all about the people.

When I'm not at the shop, you'll find me on the pickleball court giving it my all (and occasionally winning), unwinding post-game with friends and a well-earned cold drink, and soaking up time with my family. The real heart of my home, though? That's Nicky, my three-legged dog and absolute best friend, who reminds me every day that you don't need everything to be perfect to live your best life.

Nicky

Official Greeter

A visit to Simms wouldn’t be complete without the greetings of Nicky, three-legged wonder, and poodle-miniature pinscher-shihtzu-yorkie mutt extraordinaire. At thirteen years young, she still gets around just fine (and only charges a minor fee of ear scratches and belly rubs).
